Why Animas

I was forced to go to Animas by my parents and the reason for that is that I have a hard time learning at other schools. I work better at a project based learning style and where the teachers actually try to help you learn. I'm glad I'm going to Animas and excited to learn new things and meet new people. This whole high school thing has been really weird for me so far but some people have made it easier on me, especially the teachers. All the teachers so far have been so kind and patient and really fun. They show that they actually care and want to be here. Animas is an amazing school and before I came here I heard amazing things about everything. Even though I was forced to come here I'm glad I was because I would never know how great of a school it actually is.

I have only been here for a little over a week and I would already suggest it to other people. Before I started high school I thought that each grade kinda kept to themselves and definitely did not interact with multiple grade levels and even made a few new friends from higher grades.

Animus is an amazing school and lots of people can agree with me. To Be honest I was a little mad at my mom and dad for forcing me to go here but I'm glad they did because there are so many people here who actually care and want me to succeed in school and want the best for me.

I struggle with Dyslexia and ADHD and I work better at a project based school. And I always knew that but I didn't actually care at all, all I cared about was being with my friends and living my best life even if that meant I wasn't going to live up to my full potential in school and in life. I've been to a lot of schools and you can really tell the difference if the teachers really care if you succeed or not. At my last school, I could tell the teachers and staff really wanted the best for me but I just didn't care because I was used to not having people care so I kinda didn't try or give it my all. Now in high school I have to try because this part of school actually matters and people will look back at it and see what I have done with my schooling. So in a way I am glad my parents made me come here because I can, and will, succeed better at animus then if I would have gone to DHS. I know this because I will probably retain the information way better if it is hands on and gives the students way more freedom and are flexible and helpful with all the work they give.

Even though I didn't choose Animus High School, I'm still very glad and grateful for the opportunity I have to get an amazing education and one that can and will set me up for success in the near and far future.
